Extends your lathe spindle by 3 inches, for easier maneuverability around your work. Flats on the extenders accept a 42mm wrench for easy removal. Locking set screws allow for secure mounting to your lathe spindle.
An extender is especially useful if you use your lathe with a dust collector connected to a hood that attaches to the lathe bed.
An extender lets you move your dust collector hood farther away from the headstock base, thus giving you a much wider range of adjustment for the tool base lock.
