Details: These RGWOOD Lathe Spindle Extenders are the perfect solution for lengthening your lathe spindle when you need to work further back on your turning project. Add one of these to your lathe to move your chuck or faceplate an additional 3” away from your headstock, allowing more space to get into those more awkward angles. Additionally, the #2MT center allows for compatibility with our RGWOOD #2MT 5/8″ drive spurs, 1″ drive spurs, pen mandrels, etc. Available Sizes: Be sure to select the correct extender to fit the spindle on your lathe. Sizes available are: 1" x 8tpi 1-1/4" x 8tpi M33 x 3.5 Please note that these extenders are 4" in total length, but this is including the thread section that your accessory will be mounted to. Once threaded onto your spindle and accessories, the extension is 3".
