PROTECTIVE: trivet will protect most surfaces from scratches or heat (CAUTION: Exert caution on surfaces such as polished or lacquered wood, natural wood or plastic table coverings. Please note that while silicone resists high temperatures, heat can still transfers at a low rate i.e. the silicone trivet will not provide complete heat insulation)
PRACTICAL: just wipe with soap and water or place inside dishwasher
TEMPERATURE RESISTANT: silicone exhibits thermal stability or the ability to maintain its shape and structure over a wide temperature range -from below freezing to up to 446 °F (230 °C)- and therefore can be used inside freezers or microwaves
NON TOXIC: our trivets are made out of only silicone, no plastics or paint coatings used. Silicone has low chemical reactivity and will discourage microbiological growth.
